landscape lawn towards the top grass

Later we found a few houses Core, Sary, one of them with a curious shingle clad facade. Looking back south we discovered a magnificent panorama: unfolded before us the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees, in the valley of Barétous at his feet. The scenery was wonderful, a mosaic of grasslands, mountains and forests. Unforgettable views!

A little beyond a bifurcation find five ways, and we take it up a hill occupied entirely by grasses. Later the road ran beside a large forest on the slopes with oaks and beeches sunniest in the shadiest. Halfway there we found a huge monumental, with a curious way the cup.

The tour ended in the Souek, a small hill of 623 m. The road we had not been following her, so we had to climb through the landscape lawn towards the top grass. In fact, we could not even reach it, because a limited wire grass and we blocked the way. Up there we found the good views we expected, all was a furious rain forced us briskly down the same road.

We returned to the junction of 5 roads and took this time one coming down a steep hill surrounded by oak trees. The path was parallel to Arrec of Rachet, a small stream surrounded by forest that led the people of Aramits. This was the worst part of the trip, as the rains had left the road full of puddles and mud. It was quite an ordeal trying to overcome them and put the foot to the ankle in a quagmire. At the end of the tour ended at the top of mud.

After a painful march through the mud got to civilization north of Aramits. This town is known for being the birthplace of Henri d'Aramitz, Aramis famous "The Three Musketeers". In fact, the trail passed near his house next to the church of Aramits.
