Type of lawn grass species
As many of you know, each winter greens and fairways sown with "ryegrass" (Loliumperenne), to keep the green fairways and roughs constantly. In summer we have to replace this type of lawn grass species, called "Paspalum".
To accomplish this, we have begun in recent weeks to work on the rough with selective herbicides to help summer grass to take better and faster "foothold". Visually, this is shown by the yellow color of some parts of the lawn. The transition will take only a few weeks and then the field will be a lush green. The transition does not affect the quality of the grass or the pleasure of the game.
